Provide CSV download of stats for backup and other uses
I would like to be able to download a spreadsheet (CSV format) of all my data so that I can keep a backup and use the data in other places.

As we plan to take advantage of other sites to import data, we’re also keen to support other sites and uses for exporting the data that you collect at MicrostockCharts.
Priority: High
-
Benchmark my performance
Show how my performance compares to others who use this site to track their earnings. This way I can see if my portfolio is performing poorly at one particular agency compared to everyone else. And when I'm having a slow month, I will be able to check to see if it's just me or the agency or the entire market.

We plan to allow microstockers to see their own RPI charted against the average of the trusted accounts.

Hide unused agencies from data entry table
The long list of agencies that most of us will never use could be hidden, making the page more clean, simple and relaxing.

We’re all about clean, simple and relaxing so we’ll definitely implement this idea.

Import earnings data from the picNiche toolbar
The picNiche toolbar already collects earnings data. It would simplify data entry if the data could be security transferred from the toolbar to MicrostockCharts.

We have spoken with Bob from picNiche about this. The next version of the contributor toolbar will include the functionality to make this possible, and we intend to add it as soon as we can.

Add 'custom' agencies
Custom agencies would be great as some contributors might want statistics for sites that are outside the micro payment system or they are not known to everyone

Awesome suggestion. We’ll add a number of custom agencies which are excluded from the public charts which can be used to record agencies that aren’t officially supported.

Import of the spreadsheets that some agencies provide
Some agencies provide earnings data in spreadsheets that can be downloaded. It would be great to be able to import these files into MicrostockCharts to save time entering data.

We love any idea that makes data entry easier and quicker without MicrostockCharts needing agency login details (passwords). We see importing agency spreadsheets as a great way to achieve this. We’re also sensitive to privacy as most spreadsheets have identifying data – we plan to provide instructions to make the spreadsheets anonymous, where possible. We’re planning to support the spreadsheets available from Dreamstime, iStockphoto, Shutterstock and CanStockPhoto at this time. Please feel free to suggest others in the notes of this suggestion.

Stop charts going to zero in new months
Thanks to Ann Parry of AnnParryPhotography.com for this idea.
"Having the lines plunge to zero as soon as new month starts gives chart a "crash & burn" vibe most of the time.
Perhaps you could have each site's line frozen at last complete month (unless stats are added mid-month) - moving neither vertically nor horizontally until a new complete month."18 votesplanned ·

Seperate charts for different file formats: video, audio and illustrations
It would be great to be able to specify earnings with different charts for different file formats. Video, audio and illustrations.

We plan to provide this functionality as an option so microstockers can choose to group all their earnings together or separate them by file type. If separate, we will include charts which show the combined totals as well.

Total RPI Chart
Thanks to Roberto Marinello (mystockphoto.org) for this suggestion:
Provide a chart of RPI across the entire portfolio, calculating total earnings divided by average portfolio size, largest portfolio size, or total quantity of photos produced.

Thanks Roberto!
The most useful measure is the authentic one, and when looking at an overall RPI it’s only authentic if you take into account all photos submitted – the third option you suggested.
We will enable an additional data input in the Portfolio Size page so people can enter their total portfolio size (the total number of images produced) over time and use this to calculate their real overall RPI (with a chart, of course).

Widget to display my published charts
Provide a widget so that I can display my earnings charts on my website with live (real time) updates, preferably for Wordpress.

We plan to provide a widget for Wordpress and a generic HTML widget for use on other systems. We’ll do one for personal charts and one for the charts and stats of the combined data of trusted accounts.

add zazzle
While not exactly a stock agency many photographers are selling images through zazzle would be great to include my zazzle earnings so that I can compare with other photographers to see if it is really a decent revenue stream for photography.....any online avenue to sell photography should be considered

Support other languages
The site is currently only available in English. It would be great to see it available in other languages as well.

We do plan to support additional languages in the future. We will first produce the basic functionality required to make the site truly useful, which will mean we don’t have to continue maintaining all the language files as we develop. Hopefully the site is simple enough that it’s still usable for non-English speakers.

Support multiple currencies
Fotolia pays contributors in different currencies. It would be great to be able to enter the native currency and have the system automatically convert the earnings into a single currency using the historic exchange rates.

We plan to allow microstockers to enter their earnings in any currency and then display their charts in the currency of their choice.

Provide earnings projections
Calculate the probable total monthly earnings for each agency based on earnings to date in the current month, similar to how iSyndica do and Yuri's earnings calculator.

We plan to provide this feature with the option to use a simple mathematical calculation or a complicated one which accounts for weekends. If iSyndica and Yuri provide this functionality by API, we will also provide the option to use their calculations and you can see which one is more accurate for you.

We will add this as a sub-chart of the total earnings and total downloads charts first. Later we’ll look at adding it for individual agencies as well.

Provide referral income charts
Most microstock agencies provide referral / affiliate programs and the income gets mixed in with image earnings. It would be great if this could be separately recorded and with separate charts.

We absolutely plan to do this given we ourselves are big users of microstock agency referral programs.

Show single agency chart (or show in groups of ~3)
Different number levels in agencies make low number ones indistinguishable

Add more colors in the graphs
Add more colors in the graphs. Graphs are difficult to read since some agencies have the same color
